FAQ — CNC Turning

Common questions

Do you do bar-fed production runs?

Yes — bar feeder up to 1.75″ through-spindle for lights-out turning. Most appropriate for runs of 100+ pieces.

When does turning go to Swiss instead?

Parts under Ø 0.5″ with high length-to-diameter ratios (deflection risk) or sub-thousandth concentricity callouts. See Swiss machining →

Can you grind after turning?

Yes, through trusted sub-tier partners. We coordinate sub-tier ops as part of the quote so the part lands at your dock complete.

Need shafts, bushings, or fittings?

Send the print. We'll quote it — and tell you if Swiss is a better fit.
